Charity Golf Event Raises
over $100,000.00
The
Charity Golf Classic benefiting The Hermie and Elliott Sadler Foundation, The
John Rollins Foundation, and The VCU Foundation raised over $100,000.00 in its
first year. Personalities from NASCAR, The PGA Tour, and NCAA College Basketball
teamed up for a great 2 day event in Richmond, concluding with a golf tournament
June 29 in Richmond, Va.
“Elliott and I are very thankful that we have such great friends and fans that
make this possible,” stated Hermie Sadler. “Also a big thanks goes out to
Norwood Teague and his staff at VCU for a job well done planning this event.”

Charitable Foundation is Near to
Heart of Brothers Elliott and Hermie Sadler
Richard Petty Motorsports driver Elliott Sadler and his brother, Speed
commentator and occasional racer Hermie Sadler, know first-hand about the
conditions their foundation focuses on.
Hermie’s daughter, Halie Dru, was diagnosed with autism at age 2. Their
mother, Bell, was diagnosed with breast cancer a little more than six years

Mission Statement
The Hermie and Elliott Sadler Charitable Foundation is dedicated
to raising autism awareness and promoting research for a cure while also
supporting initiatives that improve educational opportunities for children and
their families. The Foundation provides support to projects that share the
ideals and concerns of the Sadler family.
