On Saturday, October 13, 2007, The Hermie and Elliott Sadler Foundation were honored with the Benefactor Award from Commonwealth Autism Service, a Richmond-based state wide technical assistance and training organization. Hermie Sadler joined NASCAR legends Richard and Kyle Petty this week for the Burroughs and Chapin Charity Golf Event in Myrtle Beach, SC to raise money for the Victory Junction Gang Camp. Richard, Kyle and Hermie spoke at the dinner on Tuesday night and the golf tournament was Wednesday. The group made a donation to the Victory Junction Gang Camp in the amount of $70,000.00.
