Plaid19 Makes Donation to the
Hermie and Elliott Sadler Foundation

Emporia, VA (December 21, 2007) -- The drivers of the Plaid #19 visited the Sadler Fan Club today with a special gift. A check for $4,710.00 was presented to the Hermie and Elliott Sadler Foundation. There to receive the check on behalf of the foundation was Angie Sadler.

The Plaid #19 is a group of Elliott Sadler fans who decided they wanted to do something different. This small group took it upon themselves to become a non-profit corporation raising funds for donation to the Sadler’s so that they can get them to where they are most needed. This year’s funds were raised through the publication of Cookin’ for the Colors a collection of recipes from various individuals to include NASCAR personalities, their family members and even the Governor of Virginia. To add to the funds AJ Winstead, of Winstead Motorsports joined the cause donating a portion of his winnings throughout the 2007 season. AJ went on to claim several trips to victory lane as well as becoming the OCS 2007 Track Champion and the Rolling Thunder Modifieds 2007 Champion.

The Plaid #19 team would like to thank AJ Winstead and Winstead Motorsports for donating a portion of their winnings to further Autism Awareness. Here is to a great 2008!
